Checking In: A Self-Assessment Workshop

Week 3 Topic: Using “Smell” to Check In

In this grounding, trauma-informed workshop, participants will explore how to slow down, tune in, and build awareness of the body’s subtle signals. Through gentle, guided practices, we’ll use the five senses as tools for reconnecting with the present moment and noticing how our bodies hold information about stress, safety, emotion, and need. Together, we’ll learn how to interpret physical sensations, shifts in energy, and emotional cues to support self-regulation, clearer boundaries, and compassionate self-awareness.

Whether you’re feeling disconnected, overwhelmed, or just ready to deepen your relationship with your body, this session offers practical tools for checking in, without judgment, and at your own pace.

Ideal for: Anyone seeking to reconnect with their body, develop emotional resilience, or begin a somatic self-care practice.

No prior experience required.
